ACCESSIBILITY
From Kathmandu to Pokhara – one can either take 30 minutes flight or a 5-hour drive along Prithivi Highway.

From Pokhara to Project Location is approximately a 3.5-hour drive

DAM:
37m long concrete gravity weir, 2 Under Sluices (3m width) with Hydraulic gates
INTAKES:
4 side intakes (3.8m width)
SETTLING BASIN:
2 double chambered 115m long
HEADRACE TUNNEL:
3030m (Ø4.6m, inverted D shaped)
SURGE SHAFT:
38m HIGH (Ø10m) vertical Surge Shaft
DROP SHAFT:
55m (Ø4.6m) Vertical Drop Shaft
PENSTOCK PIPE:
1250m long (Ø 4.0m) Penstock Pipe
POWERHOUSE:
30m x 50m Power House to house all equipment.
TRANSMISSION LINE:
Power generated from this project is to be evacuated to National Grid at 132/33KV Nepal Electricity Authority Dandakhet Substation via 132KV transmission line. Dandakhet Substation is approximately 7.5 km upstream from the powerhouse.
